What happens then:

• A full assessment will be carried out of your financial situation
• Brief details are taken of your creditors, your income, your outgoings and your circumstances
• Subject to our findings, an offer can be put together that is acceptable to your creditors and that you can afford to pay weekly or monthly
• In most cases your creditors agree to the proposed arrangements because they are shown that the proposals are workable and realistic
• Usually then, subject to everything being agreed, one monthly payment is made as part of the debt management plan and you do not have to deal with the various creditors yourself

Part of the process involves a negotiation on your behalf with your creditors to agree reduced repayments based on what you can afford to pay and to ask them to freeze or reduce interest and charges on your accounts.
